The Life is a family of folks. Two men who’ve been called by God to serve this family are Curt Liles and Kyle Kite.

Story: Me and my family moved to Oxford after a decade of ministry at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. We felt a strong call to plant a new church in this unique and influential southern city, and we are excited to see what God has in store for the Life.
Kyle Kite

Hometown: Military brat. Grew up here and there.
Story: I attended the University of Mississippi. After living in Oxford for a few years, i began working at First Baptist Church as the Associate Pastor of Worship and Students. I met Curt while the he and his family were preparing for their move to Oxford to plant the Life. My family is very excited to be a part of what God’s doing in Oxford through the Life.
